Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Binding Agreement
By requesting a quote or booking transport services with Auto Trans & Logistics Pty Ltd, the Customer (sender/receiver/owner) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms supersede any prior agreements or verbal representations.
2. Payment Terms

3. Cancellation and Fees
Logistics scheduling requires significant resource allocation. The following fees apply to all cancellations:
- Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup: Subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking value or forfeiture of the full deposit.
- On-Site Delays: Waiting time exceeding 30 minutes at pickup/delivery may incur hourly surcharges.
- Incorrect Information: If a vehicle or machinery is larger/heavier than described, we reserve the right to adjust the price or refuse transport (cancellation fees apply).
4. Liability and Transit Insurance
While Auto Trans & Logistics Pty Ltd maintains carrier liability insurance, our liability is limited. We highly recommend Customers maintain their own comprehensive transit insurance for high-value items, including trucks, motorhomes, and machinery.
- Condition Reports: Digital or physical reports must be signed at both ends. Claims for damage not noted on the delivery report will not be honored.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or damage caused by Acts of God, road closures, civil unrest, or mechanical failure beyond our control.
5. Operational Requirements
The Customer must ensure that pickup and delivery locations are accessible for heavy vehicles (trucks/coaches). It is the Customer's responsibility to disclose any narrow access, steep gradients, or weight-restricted zones.
